We are pleased to announce the first ever Haworth Christmas Tree light switch on will be by the one and only, BBC’s Look North presenter Harry Gration!

Yes we know Harry loves Haworth, having rode a tandem and pushed that BIG RED sofa up the famous cobbles. So the perfect choice for pushing the big plunger!

We will start the celebrations from when it gets dark so about 4pm at the bottom of the Main Street where the Christmas Tree is, with a fun packed couple of hours for all! With a fabulous light show, live music, Haworth School’ Christmas Choir ? and a few surprises along the Jingle way.

Come and Meet Santa on his Sleigh kindly donated by the Keighley Lions, along with Cinderella & Prince Charming with baskets full of goodies.

We will start the ‘Christmas Bauble Hunt’ for the Little’s kids and big kids which will continue throughout the month of December ! So keep your eyes our for those Hand Painted Baubles up the Street, with thanks to local Schools – Stanbury, Haworth and Lee’s Schools’s for Decorating them! You will be able to pick up your clue sheet at Lighthouse Lane

We have been collaborating to make this event happen with the ‘Christmas in Haworth’ Team all local businesses themselves, that want to start the Haworth in Christmas in style!
